Winnipeg Working Dog Club is a member club of the German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada (GSSCC), which is affiliated with the World Union of German Shepherd Dog Clubs (WUSV).
While the sport has roots in the German Shepherd Dog community, we welcome many working breeds including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Boxers, Bouviers and more.

We believe that good training creates better relationships between dogs and handlers. Our dogs are family members first. Properly trained working dogs are stable, social, trustworthy companions that are capable of both high-level sport work and everyday family life.
IGP training develops confidence, structure, obedience, focus, impulse control and clear communication.
Member Expectations
We are a hands-on training club. Members are expected to actively work with their own dogs both at club training and at home.
Members are encouraged to attend regular training sessions, participate in club activities, help maintain training equipment and fields, support trials and seminars, and contribute to the positive culture of the club.
